You know it. That itch in your gut that scrapes at you, whispering truths you don’t want to hear. Or, the inner voice that stops you from doing something your heart wants to. Intuition, they call it. Or maybe just vibes. But it’s real, and it’s rarely wrong.
The universe throws you signals, or “omens” like Paulo Coelho mentions in The Alchemist. These omens are quiet, raw, unmistakable. You don’t hear them if you don’t pay attention. Too much static, too many voices, mostly your own. You tell yourself you’re smarter than your gut. But you eventually realize, your gut was right. The signs are there. Always have been.
It has happened to me many times. When I had not listened to that voice inside my head and went otherwise, only to realize, after reaching the point of no return, that the voice was right and I was wrong. Now after a long streak of some bitter experiences, I try to listen to my gut more often. Maybe it knows me more than I myself ever will.
