Hijacked

clouds scattered like cotton balls
rivers burlesque spaghetti
trees ironed into carpet grass
or pinched out into hills
skies fading out from a halo midway
it’s winter’s brightest day

and you fly low
they hijack your gaze
you stare, admire,
bow to nature’s show.
