All Men Are Trash

All men are trash
she vehemently said.
Everyone around
nodded their head.

Some days later
their house caught fire.
In came firemen,
she looked at them –
all were men,
what an ire!

But men were trash
she remembered she said.
Now how could she
seek their help?

So she and her friends
with heads held high,
jumped into the fire,
without a sigh.

Shocked were the firemen
at what they just saw;
all men are trash,
they didn’t know.
